Stone Building Solutions provides the required Proper Crime Deterrence and Safety Training under Section 768.0706, Florida Statutes, updated for 2025. It satisfies the mandatory 3-year training requirement for employees and professionals working within Florida multifamily residential properties. This training is required for: Property Managers, Maintenance & Facilities Staff, Security Personnel, Owners & Principal Operators of Multifamily Properties Recommended for: Board of Directors of Communities (Apartments are required; condos and townhomes qualify for the same liability defenses.) What you’ll learn: A clear review of the law and who must complyand when. How to properly implement CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Enviromental Design) safety measures on your property, including lighting, camera, door, window, gate, and access-control requirements. What must be monitored, maintained, and documented? How to qualify for the Presumption Against Liability protection under Florida law Why it matters: When these measures are properly implemented and employees are trained, property owners and operators gain legal protection against third-party criminal liability. When they are not, communities face increased exposure to lawsuits, insurance complications, and operational risk. This course turns legal compliance into clear, practical action, fast, understandable, and defensible.
